We take care of our friends’ dog Odin sometimes during the day while his owner is at work.
M: C’mon Odin! Get your leash, Odi-Wan Kenobi! (That’s what we call him sometimes.) Was he a Stormtrooper?
Me: Uh, no, Obi-Wan Kenobi was a Jedi Master. The Stormtroopers are the ones in white.
M: So he wasn’t in the cantina band?
Me: No! Obi-Wan was a great Jedi who was trained by Yoda. Yoda also trained Luke Skywalker, who was told by his uncle that Darth Vader killed his father. In a way he did, when Anakin Skywalker went to the dark side. Luke was young and impatient. “So was I…” That’s what Obi-Wan said when he reminded Yoda what he himself was like when Yoda trained him. Yoda was 800 years old. He too was a great Jedi Master.
M: I don’t care.
Me: Sigh…
